[Thankfully Ashi has her camera nicely set up already on her laptop so it makes this a heck of a lot easier and quicker. Once the video clicks on she folds her arms just in front of her on the table's edges and peers just a little quizzically into the camera itself.

... It's working, right? She purses her lips a little as she tries to decide how to figure that out and then shrugs her shoulders to herself as she begins talking.]

Um... if this is working I just wanted to see how you were. I'm sorry I ran off but there was screaming so...

[Boy it's odd just talking and not knowing if she's heard. She pulls back a bit, hands tucking offscreen as she leans away a little. She can still be seen but it's clear she's fidgeting some.]

I wanted to ask too... you said you were going to play that day? Your instrument.

[There's a certain intrigued gleam to her eyes here.]

Could you play for me sometime? Or I can come listen. I've heard music before but never from an instrument like that.

[ Good for her, Antonio has this nice computer sitting in his apartment and he barely knows what to do with it other than text. So when he answers her call he shows up as audio only.

What else do you expect from musical weirdos from the 19th century? ]

I hear you perfectly, my dear, and you don't have to apologize. It turns out we were better off than most...

[ Something brushes against the mic a bit. Is it an arm or a lock of hair? Who knows, he sounds more enthusiastic now that she's shown interest in his music. ]

But I am fine, and you couldn't have asked at a better time! I've recently found a luthier in town who's managed to fix my violin up a bit. Now's the perfect chance to hear it at its finest!

[Oh! Well now that's good news! She hadn't a clue what repairing an instrument like that involved but she did know what it took to repair weapons. It must not have been easy to do.

At least she did this right. That's enough to make her give a big grin but his acceptance really is the cherry on top.]

Any time is fine! Honestly I just sort of... wander around most days.

[The last bit is a little sheepish. Without a world to save or really any clear goal Ashi has just sort of taken to exploring.]

[He seemed to travel quite a bit with his instrument so she assumed that wasn't a bother.]

Do those snacks include liquor, or should I bring some myself?

[Ah yes, addresses. Ashi has to duck her head out of her apartment door for a moment but she returns shortly after.
